Jamie Murray was one of the traps, who partnered John Peers to beat Matt Reid and Luke Saville 7-6, 7-6, collapsed, subsequently, and needed two hours of medical supervision, after suffering heat stroke.
“It started once the match had finished and I got back to the locker room,” Peers was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
“I had a lot of ice treatment; I was getting big cramps in my legs. I don’t know what would have happened if we had gone into a third set but luckily that wasn’t necessary,” he added.
“It wasn’t too pleasant but it was good to get the win and I think I’ll be feeling much better tomorrow.
