Swimming Championship being staged at the Aitchison College Pool on Monday
Punjab School was dominating the opening day of the two-day McDonald’s Punjab Inter-school Age Group Swimming Championship being staged at the Aitchison College Pool on Monday. Punjab Swimming Association President Zoraiz Lashari inaugurated the championship which is being participated by about 10 school of the province, much lower the number of participation as claimed by the organisers, who were expecting 60 schools entry. The competitions are being held in Under-8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and super boys categories and Punjab School stood ahead of all the participating institutes. Apart from them, Aitchison School, City, FIMS, LGS and Nusrat Jehan are performing well. On the final day the events will start at 3 pm and with heats of some of the remaining categories finals of all the age groups classes would be held.
